
Social Media Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Social Media Specialist to lead the creation, curation and management of content across multiple client social channels. You’ll bring strategic insight and creative flair to ensure each platform delivers against KPIs and aligns with client brand voices. From concept to execution, this is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment.
Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok

Create and curate engaging multimedia content tailored to each platform

Write compelling copy in line with diverse brand voices

Lead the delivery of monthly organic schedules and paid campaigns

Use Meta Business Manager for campaign setup, optimisation and performance reporting

Monitor analytics and adapt strategy using insights from tools such as Facebook Insights

Coordinate with creative pods, account managers and external creatives to ensure campaign excellence

Oversee social media scheduling and content calendars
-
Engage online communities, respond to follower queries and encourage interaction

Attend monthly content shoots and manage timely delivery across clients

Stay ahead of social media trends and test new content strategies

Manage social media budgets and report ROI
About You
You’ll bring a minimum of 2 years’ digital agency experience with a passion for all things digital and creative. You have a deep knowledge of social platforms, exceptional attention to detail, and thrive managing multiple clients. You are proactive, flexible and always ready to go the extra mile.
Essential Experience & Skills

Strong copywriting and editing abilities

Deep understanding of social media algorithms and KPIs

Graphic design skills (Adobe Suite or Figma)

Experience with paid social campaigns via Meta Business Manager

Online community management

iPhone video shooting and editing
Desirable Experience & Skills

Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, design or digital media

Experience with Google Analytics, Mailchimp, WordPress, and Asana

Familiarity with video editing tools

Confidence using Google Drive and cloud-based collaboration tools
