Role
Are you passionate about social media and creating impactful content? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation that supports Australia’s agricultural sector. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and managing social media content that engages stakeholders and enhances the organisation’s brand presence.

Your duties will include:

  • Developing a weekly content calendar for social media channels, incorporating pre-identified content sources and ad hoc requests.
  • Creating engaging content that aligns with brand, tone, and voice guidelines, using templates, images, and video sources.
  • Scheduling and publishing content using the organisation’s preferred scheduling tool, ensuring timely approvals.
  • Monitoring content performance and recommending adjustments based on trends and analytics.
  • Providing monthly performance analytics for key channels and content types, such as video and podcasts.
  • Adhering to organisational guidelines, policies, and procedures, including privacy, copyright, and commercial considerations.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in creating content for diverse social media platforms, with the ability to follow brand and style guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices and success factors, including the ability to produce actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of key stakeholders in the agricultural sector and the ability to adopt a ‘grower-first’ approach to content.
  • Familiarity with the organisation’s core business and the broader agricultural landscape.
  • Experience in community moderation, risk identification, and brand protection.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
