Position Overview
We are seeking experienced ServiceNow specialists to support Service Modelling and Service Mapping within a PROTECTED environment. The role focuses on establishing and maintaining an accurate, sustainable service model and Configuration Management Database aligned to the Common Service Data Model. You will contribute to improved data integrity, service onboarding, governance compliance and audit readiness, ensuring platform configurations remain scalable and upgrade-safe.

Key Duties

  • Design and maintain service models across business, application and technical layers.

  • Develop and validate service maps and dependency relationships.

  • Configure Discovery, Service Mapping patterns and MID Server governance.

  • Support data migration, reconciliation and Configuration Management Database health activities.

  • Integrate service models with Incident, Problem, Change and Event Management processes.

  • Produce modelling standards, documentation and governance artefacts.

  • Participate in testing, change governance and stakeholder workshops.

  • Ensure compliance with security and PROTECTED environment requirements.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in ServiceNow Service Modelling and Service Mapping.

  • Strong understanding of the Common Service Data Model and Configuration Management Database design.

  • Experience with Discovery, identification and reconciliation rules, and data quality management.

  • Knowledge of IT service management process integration.

  • Ability to produce clear documentation and work within structured governance frameworks.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.

  • Baseline Security Clearance (mandatory).
