ServiceNow Developer – Federal Government

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support a large-scale Federal Government program of work, delivered through a leading consultancy. This role will focus on configuring, developing, and supporting ServiceNow solutions in line with government standards and best practices.
Contract Details

  • Contract: 12 months with extensions
  • Location: Australia (hybrid arrangements may apply)
  • Citizenship: Australian Citizenship required
  • Security Clearance: Preferred or willingness to obtain

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and customise ServiceNow modules (e.g. ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, SecOps)
  • Build workflows, business rules, scripts, integrations, and UI components
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Support testing, deployments, and platform upgrades
  • Ensure solutions comply with Federal Government security and compliance requirements
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing platform support and enhancements

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer in complex environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, and platform configuration
  • Experience working on Australian Federal Government projects (highly desirable)
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS) highly regarded
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
