ServiceNow Architect – Federal Government

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to support a large-scale Federal Government program of work, delivered through a leading consultancy. This role will play a key part in designing, governing, and delivering scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned to government standards and enterprise architecture.

Contract Details

  • Contract: 12 months with strong extension potential
  • Location: Australia (hybrid arrangements may apply)
  • Citizenship: Australian Citizenship required
  • Security Clearance: Preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of ServiceNow solutions across one or more modules (e.g. ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, SecOps)
  • Define and maintain ServiceNow architectural standards, patterns, and governance
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors to translate requirements into scalable platform designs
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers and implementation teams
  • Ensure solutions align with Federal Government security, compliance, and integration requirements
  • Oversee platform configuration, customisation, integrations, and performance optimisation
  • Support roadmap planning, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect in large, complex environments
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices
  • Experience working on Australian Federal Government projects (highly regarded)
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and technical teams
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS, Architect-level) highly desirable
