ServiceNow Architect – Federal Government
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect to support a large-scale Federal Government program of work, delivered through a leading consultancy. This role will play a key part in designing, governing, and delivering scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned to government standards and enterprise architecture.
Contract Details
- Contract: 12 months with strong extension potential
- Location: Australia (hybrid arrangements may apply)
- Citizenship: Australian Citizenship required
- Security Clearance: Preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of ServiceNow solutions across one or more modules (e.g. ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, SecOps)
- Define and maintain ServiceNow architectural standards, patterns, and governance
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors to translate requirements into scalable platform designs
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers and implementation teams
- Ensure solutions align with Federal Government security, compliance, and integration requirements
- Oversee platform configuration, customisation, integrations, and performance optimisation
- Support roadmap planning, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect in large, complex environments
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices
- Experience working on Australian Federal Government projects (highly regarded)
- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and technical teams
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS, Architect-level) highly desirable
