Service Delivery Manager - (ITIL & ISO/IEC 20000)
We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to lead the operational support and service management function for a large-scale national digital platform program.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on establishing support frameworks, managing live operations, coordinating vendors, and ensuring smooth transition into BAU support. The environment is fast-paced, complex, and highly collaborative, making it ideal for someone who thrives in operational leadership and service delivery roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage the operational support and service management framework
- Lead day-to-day production support and service coordination
- Manage incidents, escalations, operational issues and service performance
- Support release readiness, transition, hypercare and BAU handover activities
- Coordinate vendors, suppliers and support teams
- Implement ITIL-aligned processes across incident, problem, request and change management
- Develop operational reporting, metrics and continual improvement initiatives
- Ensure operational readiness and support sustainability as the platform scales
About You
You will bring strong experience leading operational support functions within complex ICT or digital platform environments.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience managing IT operations, service delivery or production support functions
- Strong background in ITIL/service management practices
- Experience with incident, problem, change and release management
- Demonstrated experience transitioning systems into BAU support
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management capability
- Experience working across multi-vendor or enterprise environments
- Ability to balance strategic framework development with hands-on operational leadership
Desirable
- ITIL Foundation certification or higher
- Experience within government, infrastructure or regulated environments
- Exposure to SaaS, hosted applications, digital platforms or spatial/mapping systems
- Experience supporting large transformation or national programs
