Service Delivery Lead

We are actively seeking an experienced Service Delivery Lead (SDL) to manage and uplift our Data BAU operations, covering platforms and tools such as Databricks, Greenplum, Informatica, and other enterprise-scale data environments.

This role requires a technically astute and operationally focused leader who can drive performance and delivery outcomes while managing and developing a diverse application support team. You will bring deep expertise in ITIL-based service management, hands-on familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms, and the ability to work across onshore and offshore delivery models, including experience working with Indian-based support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Data Application Support BAU team, ensuring SLA and KPI adherence across all services.
  • Drive a high-performance culture through team mentoring, capability uplift, and the strategic reshaping of skills and structure.
  • Take ownership of people decisions including recruitment, onboarding, upskilling, and managing underperformance where needed.
  • Ensure effective incident, problem, change, and service request management using ITSM best practices and tools like ServiceNow.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for data support issues, acting swiftly to resolve challenges and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by proactively identifying and addressing service gaps, inefficiencies, or training needs.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years in a Service Delivery Lead, Application Support Manager, or IT Operations leadership role, preferably in a data or analytics environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of data platforms and tools such as Databricks, Greenplum, Informatica, or similar.
  • ITIL certification is essential, with demonstrated success in managing ITSM processes and driving service improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or comparable ITSM tools.
  • Proven success in transforming BAU teams, driving upskilling, cultural change, and measurable performance improvement.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities, including experience making hiring, team structuring, and performance decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to confidently manage expectations at all levels.
  • Experience working within offshore/onshore delivery models, especially with Indian delivery partners, is highly desirable.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience within enterprise data platforms or working in data-focused environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to align operational services with data program priorities and delivery timelines.
  • A proactive, hands-on leadership style with a passion for customer service and operational excellence.
