An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Workplace Relations professional to join a high-performing People & Culture team supporting a complex and dynamic organisation.

This role is suited to a seasoned practitioner who thrives in managing sensitive employee relations matters, providing trusted advice to senior stakeholders, and supporting organisational change initiatives. 6 months contract role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert workplace relations advice on complex and sensitive employee matters.
  • Manage escalated employee relations cases, including misconduct, performance, grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Conduct and support workplace investigations, including evidence gathering, analysis and preparation of findings.
  • Lead and support consultation processes associated with organisational change and workforce transition activities.
  • Provide advice on industrial obligations, consultation requirements and employee engagement strategies.

About You

  • Significant experience in workplace relations, employee relations or industrial relations within a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing sensitive and high-risk workplace matters independently.
  • Strong investigation experience, including conducting interviews, analysing evidence and preparing reports.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, concise and professional documentation.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, restructures and workforce transition programs.
  • Previous experience within the Victorian Public Sector or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of Victorian public sector employment frameworks and enterprise agreements.
