With multiple locations across Canberra, and nationwide, the organisation seeks only the most skilled and professional individuals to assist them in developing programs, policies and initiatives that will improve the quality of life for vulnerable Australians.
The Role
Our client is seeking the engagement of an experienced UX/UI Designer to oversee the ongoing improvement of their digital products, with the aim of creating better outcomes for all users. The successful candidate will possess experience designing both internal systems and client-facing experiences, and will be adept in designing to meet WCAG guidelines.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Design of wireframes and prototypes
- Facilitation of workshops with various stakeholders
- Facilitation of usability testing with internal and external stakeholders
- Gathering and evaluation of user requirements
- Illustration of concepts using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Capture and analysis of data requirements
Skills and Experience
- Significant proven experience in elicitation of UX/UI requirement techniques
- Knowledge of UX/UI methodologies and experience designing to WAG standards
- Ability to build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Design experience working Accessibility requirements (desirable)
- Ability to apply innovative thinking to accessibility and enthusiasm for accessible design and development
It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and either hold or be eligible to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
