A leading multinational technology organisation is seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Adaptive Endpoint Management Engineer to join their project supporting advanced endpoint management for employees and customers in New Zealand. As part of this contract role, you will provide expert technical support, troubleshooting, and optimization services focused on Azure AD and Microsoft Intune.

This is a remote position based in Australia, delivering onsite-equivalent support virtually or as needed. You will work closely with customers to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues, manage endpoint fleets proactively, and drive efficiency through scripting and automation.

This role is ideal for a seasoned IT professional with a passion for endpoint security, modern PC management tools, and collaborative problem-solving. You’ll contribute to maintaining the health of customer endpoints, influencing product development, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

This role involves supporting customers in New Zealand (Auckland or Wellington), so flexibility with NZ time zones (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM NZ time, Monday to Friday) is required. No onsite requirement; can be performed from home or supplier premises.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Relevant Certifications (Required):
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
    • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Manager – Configuration Manager.
    • Microsoft Certified: Intune Administrator.
    • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification.
  • Experience (Minimum Required):
    • 5+ years in IT operations, with a focus on endpoint management and IT infrastructure.
    • 2+ years working with UEM solutions like Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Config Manager.
    • Proven experience in Level 3 endpoint management support, including advanced troubleshooting, system optimization, and deployments.
  • Top 3 Skills and Experiences:
    1. Intune Management (expertise in configuration, deployment, and optimization).
    2. Endpoint Management (proactive fleet management, security, and compliance).
    3. PowerShell / Scripting (developing automation workflows for remediation and efficiency).
