Senior Test Lead/Manager

This large government body is seeking an experienced Senior Test Lead to play a critical role in a large-scale, enterprise-wide Microsoft transformation program.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and driving the end-to-end testing strategy across multiple workstreams, vendors, and delivery teams. You will operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, ensuring testing is planned, coordinated, and executed effectively across a complex hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end testing approach across multiple streams within a large enterprise program
Define and own the overall test strategy, standards, and governance
Develop and manage the master test schedule, dependencies, and milestones
Coordinate testing activities across vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders
Provide hands-on leadership for complex, high-risk, or business-critical testing phases
Establish and lead automated testing capability, including tooling, frameworks, and ways of working
Ensure testing supports broader program outcomes, risk management, and quality objectives

Key Skills & Experience

Extensive Test Leadership or Test Management experience on large, complex technology programs
Strong background in enterprise platforms, including; Cloud and SaaS solutions, Identity and access management, Data platforms and integrations etc
Proven ability to work strategically and hands-on in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery environment
Experience coordinating testing across multiple vendors and delivery partners
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to engage with senior stakeholders while remaining closely connected to delivery teams and outcomes
