Senior Technology Risk Analyst

Talent International, a leading Australian recruitment firm, have been engaged by our longstanding client, a leading entertainment destination, to source an Analyst – Technology Risk for an exciting contract role with a view to permanency.

Role Title: Analyst – Technology Risk

Contract Length: Initial 6-month contract (highly likely to extend or convert to permanent)

Location + WFH Flexibility: Sydney preferred, hybrid working model

Daily Pay: $880-$1,010 + super (to the candidate)

Project: Supporting the broader Technology Risk function

Role Details:

• Hands-on role supporting the Technology Risk team
• Collate information, prepare work papers, and engage with mid-level stakeholders
• Assist with incident reviews – liaise with stakeholders to assess root cause and actions
• Compile and review risk logs and supporting documentation
• Provide analysis and recommendations based on collected data
• Support risk-related monthly activities and committees
• Help bridge conversations between tech and business stakeholders
• Identify gaps between perceived risk maturity and actual readiness
• Bonus if able to support process mapping (e.g. using Visio)

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3-4 years’ experience in technology risk, operational risk, or consulting
• Familiarity with group risk tools/systems
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
• Ability to operate independently and manage upward
• Consulting mindset – thrives in ambiguity and adds structure
• Exposure to cyber or IT risk is a bonus
• Comfortable facilitating discussions and constructively challenging assumptions
