We are seeking a Senior Technical Architect with strong strategic and stakeholder management capabilities to lead a high-profile engagement within the Public Sector. This role goes beyond hands-on technical delivery, requiring a seasoned professional who can engage with senior government stakeholders-including those reporting directly to the Minister-and operate effectively in a politically visible environment.

The successful candidate will combine deep expertise in Salesforce with proven experience in enterprise architecture, integration, and solution delivery. They will act as a trusted advisor, shaping solution vision, guiding implementation, and ensuring alignment between technical execution and strategic business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as lead architect for the overall engagement, coordinating and aligning the work of multiple architects.
  • Review and guide project vision, direction, implementation approach, and key artefacts.
  • Provide proactive management of issues and effective engagement with executives, account teams, engineering, and product management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior public sector stakeholders, including C-level executives and ministerial offices.
  • Influence and guide communication strategies to ensure transparency and confidence in delivery progress.
  • Ensure scalable, best-practice solutions that meet and exceed customer needs.
  • Guide the evaluation of business and technical requirements.
  • Direct early solution evaluation and oversee enterprise integration approaches.
  • Mentor diverse teams including customers, partners, and colleagues in both technical and non-technical delivery aspects.
  • Support project and engagement managers in planning and implementation.
  • Contribute to internal growth initiatives, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support pre-sales activities where required to position Salesforce Services.
  • Contribute to broader organisational goals by participating in volunteering and community initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the Public Sector or Health industry.
  • Expertise in enterprise architecture including Cloud, Integration Technologies, and Master Data Management.
  • Ability to analyse, design, and optimise business processes through technology and integration.
  • Experience guiding customers in deploying emerging technologies for business use cases.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team, with ownership of outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally internationally.
  • Ability to rapidly ramp up on Salesforce products via certifications and ongoing learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Detailed understanding of Web Services, Data Modelling, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Application Integration concepts.
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools (ESBs, ETL) and design patterns across CMS, ERP, HRIS, DWH/DM systems.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level and senior decision makers.
  • Hands-on experience defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform, including coded solutions.
  • Salesforce Industries and Salesforce Certifications.
  • Affiliation with industry forums such as TM Forum (SID, eTOM).
  • Architecture qualifications such as TOGAF.
  • Agile methodology certifications (e.g., Scaled Agile Framework).
