Senior Systems Engineer

About the role:

Managing all ICTICT infrastructure and providing end user support for all systems across the organisation. This includes vendor and contract management, hardware and software strategy and renewals, end user support, infrastructure optimisation and modernisation, cybercyber security incident response support and cloud platform management.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience supporting Windows Server and desktop environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (previously SCCMSCCM or IntuneIntune) for managing Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency in application packaging for desktop/server software.
• Strong documentation skills for build processes and operational procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure roles: DHCPDHCP, Active Directory, DNSDNS, and Group Policy.
• Experience in Windows and application patch management.
• Administration of Office 365 & Azure environments.
• Background in managing VMWareVMWare infrastructure.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience administering Microsoft 365 Defender (Advanced Threat Protection).
• Knowledge of deploying Infrastructure as Code using Azure Bicep.
• Familiarity with CitrixCitrix virtual apps and desktops or updating CitrixCitrix/VMWareVMWare VDIVDI images.
• Experience automating IT tasks using PowerShellPowerShell.
• Background in Docker container administration and deployments.
• Proficiency in utilizingutilizing JiraJira for project management.
• Understanding of PSPFPSPF Information Security Manual (ISM) security controls or NISTNIST equivalent.
• SQLSQL Server administration experience.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 (on-premise and cloud) and SharePointSharePoint (online and on-premise).
