Our Client
Our client is a large government department tasked with delivering a range of health, welfare, and support services to individuals, families, and communities. They work closely with other government agencies and service providers to develop policy to support government programmes, design and develop service delivery systems that make services accessible to all and provide payments and services that support all Australians to improve their circumstances and achieve greater self-sufficiency and quality of life.

The Role
Our client is seeking the engagement of experienced Systems Analysts to design and deliver new solutions and provide ongoing support for ICT solutions. Systems Analysts will work closely with relevant business areas and customers to articulate process improvements, resolve issues and translate business requirements into technical requirements

Specifically, the successful candidates will:

  • Engage with other agencies and service providers to build service delivery capability
  • Contribute to ICT strategy and influence decision-making and conflict resolution as needed
  • Prepare and review a range of technical and corporate documentation
  • Define and clarify business needs through collaboration with stakeholders, and document for senior management
  • Analyse the business’ current state to identify and recommend improvements

Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will possess and understanding of and/or experience in the following areas:

  • Business process improvement
  • Understanding or experience in legislation, policies, procedures and information management requirements relevant to Cyber Security
  • Enterprise and business architecture
  • Requirements definition and management
  • Software design
  • Stakeholder relationship management
  • System design
