Join a growing and well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) as a Senior Systems Engineer, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across cloud, infrastructure, and end-user environments.

This is a hands-on senior role where you’ll work across modern Microsoft ecosystems, lead technical problem solving, and play a key role in maintaining secure, high-performing environments for customers.

You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team with exposure to a wide range of technologies, while also having the autonomy to take ownership of complex issues and drive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L3 support and technical leadership across client environments
  • Manage and optimise RMM platforms across EUC and server infrastructure
  • Own and support backup and recovery solutions, ensuring reliability and compliance
  • Design and support cloud-based infrastructure, primarily within Microsoft Azure
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft security solutions across client environments
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
  • Support modern device management using Intune
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents, problems, and escalations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and standardisation initiatives
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster as part of the engineering team

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience as a Senior Systems Engineer within an MSP or complex multi-client environment
  • Strong experience with RMM tools (Kaseya preferred)
  • Solid background in backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure & M365)
  • Experience with Microsoft security frameworks and tools
  • Exposure to Intune / endpoint management (desirable)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, cloud, and end-user systems
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) – Highly Regarded
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) – Highly Regarded
