
Senior Splunk Support Engineer
A leading Financial Services provider is seeking a Senior Splunk Support Engineer with a proven background in monitoring and building dashboards to join their team on a permanent basis.
This organisation is currently undergoing significant transformation across its digital and customer platforms, with a strong focus on stability, observability and customer experience.
Joining a small, dynamic team supporting an internal Customer Loyalty Platform, your key responsibilities will include:
- Building and developing dashboards in Splunk
- Monitoring and incident response
- Platform insights and data analysis
- Engaging with other engineering squads to resolve integration issues
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certifications (i.e. Splunk)
- Strong experience working with Splunk including building complex dashboards and troubleshooting
- Proven experience supporting large, customer-facing platforms
- Understanding of ITIL practices including incident/problem/change processes combined with service management tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
- Good working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS), containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker), and API gateway tools (e.g., Apigee)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills with a mindset for continuous improvement
