Senior ServiceNow Administrator | Enterprise ITSM Platform Operations & Uplift

  • Location: ACT / NSW / QLD (Hybrid)
  • Security Clearance: Baseline (Mandatory – or ability to obtain)
  • Contract Length: 12 months + 2 × 12-month extensions (Department discretion)

About the position:

This Senior ServiceNow Administrator role supports a nationally significant digital health environment where platform stability, compliance, and user experience directly influence operational capability.

The position operates within a combined BAU and project delivery setting. You will provide hands-on administration, configuration, and development across ServiceNow modules while ensuring platform integrity, security posture, and SDLC alignment are maintained.

This is a senior operational role, not a strategy-only or vendor oversight position.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide expert administration, triage, defect resolution, and minor enhancement delivery across the ServiceNow platform
  • Implement platform upgrades, patches, releases, and hotfixes within a controlled SDLC framework
  • Configure and optimise modules including ITSM, ITOM, HR, SPM, and Service Catalogue automation
  • Support integration, reporting, analytics, and user experience improvements across the platform

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated enterprise-level ServiceNow administration and development experience
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, change control, and environment governance
  • Proven capability in root cause analysis and multi-team incident resolution
