Senior Security Architect

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Architect to play a key role in delivering critical cyber security initiatives within a large and complex enterprise environment. This is a hands-on architecture position that combines strategic thinking with practical delivery, focusing on strengthening security capabilities across major transformation programs.

The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of enterprise security solutions, with a strong emphasis on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Network Segmentation. Working closely with technology, security, and business stakeholders, you will ensure security is embedded into projects from inception through to delivery while helping drive a secure-by-design culture across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead security architecture for major DLP and Network Segmentation initiatives.
• Design and review secure solutions across cloud, network, application, and endpoint environments.
• Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments, and architecture reviews.
• Define security standards, patterns, and reference architectures.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to embed security into project delivery.
• Provide expert guidance on security risks, controls, and architectural decisions.

Skills & Expereince:

• Proven experience in senior Security Architecture roles within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  • Network Security & Zero Trust Architecture
  • Cloud Security (Azure, AWS and/or GCP)
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Security technologies including SIEM, EDR and CASB
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SABSA and TOGAF.
• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale security transformation projects

Qualitfications:

• Degree in IT, Cyber Security or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• CISSP preferred.
• TOGAF, SABSA, CCSP, AWS Security Speciality or similar certifications highly regarded.
