Senior Project Manager – Salesforce

Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid – onsite 3 days per week)

Contract: 6-month contract | Full-time

Daily Rate: Up to $1,200 per day

We are partnering with a global technology-leading company to engage an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex Salesforce implementations across enterprise and public sector environments.

This role is ideal for a delivery-focused Senior PM who can confidently manage large, cross-functional teams, engage senior stakeholders, and drive projects to successful outcomes within time and budget.

Your Impact

As the Senior Project Manager, you will act as the overall leader of the project team and the primary customer interface, ensuring strong governance, communication, and delivery discipline throughout the engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction, strong communication, and accountability
  • Serve as the primary client interface, ensuring adherence to Salesforce delivery methodology, project gates, and governance
  • Build, manage, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and issues to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Proactively identify and resolve delivery risks and issues to ensure project success
  • Oversee project resourcing and utilisation in line with budget and delivery requirements, including timely approval of project timesheets
  • Lead one or two large-scale projects, or multiple small to medium interrelated projects, operating at a program level
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and support the creation of project deliverables and Salesforce documentation
  • Act as an extension of the account team to help grow and extend the Salesforce footprint
  • Manage end-to-end implementation planning, including risk and issue management, communications, and organisational change activities
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinating business users through to formal sign-off

What You’ll Bring

Essential experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering enterprise-scale CRM implementations across Sales, Service, Marketing, or Commerce
  • Proven end-to-end project management experience on external, client-facing engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams of 10+ people, managing scope, schedule, and budget
  • Strong stakeholder management capability, including the ability to lead difficult conversations
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget, managing project budgets of $2M+ AUD
  • Ability to balance business and technical requirements to build and execute effective project plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment
  • Degree qualification or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Availability to work onsite in Sydney CBD a minimum of 3 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or Scrum
  • Experience managing and collaborating with remote or offshore development teams
  • Experience delivering projects within Federal or State Government or public sector environments
