Talent International is currently recruiting for an EL1 Salesforce Developer to work for one of our Federal Government clients based in any office locations in NSW. The position is a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension. The role pays between $900 to $1000 per day + Super.

7.6 hours per day and 38 hours per week

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join a high-profile digital transformation program delivering innovative, fit-for-purpose ICT solutions.

Working within a collaborative Agile environment, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce Vlocity solutions while contributing to best-practice development standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a key member of a multidisciplinary Scrum team delivering Salesforce-based solutions.
  • Develop robust, scalable, reusable, and high-performing Salesforce Vlocity solutions.
  • Contribute to solution design reviews and establish development standards.
  • Ensure solutions comply with governance, security, and coding standards.
  • Support deployments across all environments, including Production.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint activities.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, UI/UX specialists, and accessibility experts.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Salesforce Vlocity best practices.
  • Support knowledge sharing and capability uplift across the team.
  • Assist in the adoption of CI/CD, DevOps, and test automation practices.

Please note: Responsibilities may evolve in line with project priorities.

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Strong experience with Salesforce Vlocity, including:
    • Apex
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • OmniScripts
    • FlexCards
    • Integration Procedures
    • DataRaptors
  • Experience working with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), frameworks, and design patterns.
  • Experience designing and developing integrations, including REST APIs and Platform Events.
  • Salesforce certifications including:
    • Platform Developer I
    • Platform Developer II
    • OmniStudio Developer
  • Experience across Salesforce implementations including:
    • Sales Cloud
    • Service Cloud
    • Experience/Community Cloud
    • Health Cloud
  • Experience using source control and package-based development practices, including GitLab.

Desirable Skills

  • Additional experience delivering complex Salesforce Vlocity solutions within large-scale enterprise or government environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams delivering customer-centric digital solutions.
