  • Key Experience: Pre-sales engineering within enterprise software, data protection, cyber resilience, and public sector environments

This role plays a critical part in supporting federal customers by bridging complex business challenges with robust, secure, and scalable technical solutions. As a senior technical advisor within a federal sales environment, you will work closely with sales, partners, and customers to shape solutions that drive resilience, protect critical data, and enable confident decision-making at the highest levels of government.

Your duties will include:

  • Partnering with sales teams to develop territory plans and account strategies
  • Leading technical discovery, solution design, and pre-sales engagements
  • Delivering compelling product demonstrations, whiteboarding sessions, and executive presentations
  • Supporting proof-of-value activities and cloud architecture discussions
  • Building trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders
  • Providing enablement and technical guidance to partners and internal teams


Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Extensive experience in pre-sales or sales engineering within software or storage environments
  • Strong background in data management, backup and recovery, security, and cyber resilience solutions
  • Experience working with Australian Public Sector or Federal Government clients
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern infrastructure technologies
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
