Senior Project Manager – Digital Delivery
Optimizely Digital Experience Platform

Scale Talent is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of an enterprise Digital Experience Platform.

This role will coordinate the delivery of Optimizely CMS, CMP, DAM and Opal AI capabilities, working closely with the systems integration partner and stakeholders across Technology, Digital, Marketing, Brand, Data, Cyber Security and the broader business.

You will oversee delivery from platform establishment through content migration, adoption, operational readiness, go-live and transition to business-as-usual.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Optimizely Digital Experience Platform.

  • Coordinate the systems integration partner, Optimizely, agencies and internal delivery teams.

  • Establish clear roadmaps, releases, milestones, dependencies and acceptance criteria.

  • Coordinate Optimizely CMS delivery, including website experiences, content capability and migration.

  • Oversee Optimizely CMP implementation, including content planning, collaboration, workflows and marketing operations.

  • Coordinate Optimizely DAM delivery, including metadata, permissions, governance, workflows and asset migration.

  • Lead the controlled implementation and adoption of Optimizely Opal AI capabilities.

  • Ensure responsible AI, security, privacy and data-governance requirements are addressed.

  • Oversee environments, configuration, access, identity, APIs, integrations, monitoring and deployment.

  • Align the solution with enterprise architecture, technology and cyber-security standards.

  • Maintain clear requirements, traceability and acceptance criteria.

  • Lead integrated test planning, execution, defect management and reporting.

  • Manage RAID, dependency, decision, action, change and deliverables registers.

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, vendor expenditure and commercial commitments.

  • Facilitate governance forums and provide executives with clear status, options and recommendations.

  • Define go-live, cutover and operational-readiness criteria.

  • Ensure support models, monitoring, runbooks, ownership, training and documentation are ready before launch.

  • Coordinate deployment, communications, hypercare and transition to business-as-usual.

About you

You will bring:

  • Extensive experience delivering complex digital, technology or customer-platform initiatives.

  • Demonstrated success managing enterprise CMS, digital experience or marketing-technology implementations.

  • Strong systems integration and vendor-management capability.

  • Experience coordinating multiple business and technical workstreams.

  • Strong understanding of platform environments, integrations, identity, data and release management.

  • Experience managing content and digital-asset migration.

  • Practical knowledge of cyber security, privacy, accessibility and data governance.

  • Strong project governance, financial management and executive-reporting skills.

  • Experience leading integrated testing, cutover, operational readiness and hypercare.

  • Excellent stakeholder-management, facilitation and communication skills.

  • The ability to bring structure, transparency and accountability to complex delivery environments.

Highly regarded

  • Direct experience implementing Optimizely CMS, CMP, DAM or Opal AI.

  • Experience delivering enterprise Digital Experience Platforms.

  • Exposure to responsible AI governance and AI-enabled content capabilities.

  • Experience working across Digital, Marketing, Brand, Data and Technology functions.

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and customer-centred digital delivery.

You will establish clear accountability across all delivery partners and workstreams, maintain alignment between scope, schedule, budget and quality, and ensure the platform is secure, supportable and ready for operational use.
