Senior Project Manager
Contract: End of September – Likely Extension

We’re partnering with a manufacturing organisation to find an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a critical IT and ERP focused initiative supporting their China operations. This role is Sydney based, with close collaboration across China, Singapore, and external vendors.


Key responsibilities

* Support the IT workstream for an Oracle focused program supporting the China office
* Manage Oracle configuration and customisation delivered via a third party vendor
* Oversee data migration activities including coordination with vendors, testers, and internal Oracle SMEs
* Set up and manage the financial structure for the project, including budget ownership and vendor spend
* Work end to end with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver outcomes
* Ensure strong governance, documentation, and PM process adherence throughout the lifecycle
* Collaborate closely with an existing SAP program to ensure smooth transition of Oracle deliverables and documentation into SAP design work commencing in Q2
* Manage additional IT activities as required, including employee onboarding and laptop provisioning
* Engage with supply chain and distributor stakeholders within an ERP environment


About you
* Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex IT and ERP projects
* Strong background in Oracle environments, including configuration, customisation, and data migration
* Comfortable working with third party vendors alongside internal IT and business teams
* Strong business acumen paired with hands on IT & Business delivery experience
* Mandarin language skills are beneficial, particularly for stakeholder sessions, but not critical
* Experience working across regions, ideally including China or broader APAC
* Highly organised, process driven, and calm under pressure, especially when go live dates are immovable


Location and logistics
* Based in Sydney Central
* Hybrid working model, three days in the office
* Project team includes PM and BA based in China, Oracle resources in Singapore, and vendor led data migration and testing
