Melton City Council is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of our Technology Change Program, a key initiative supporting Council’s broader Transformation Program.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive large-scale technology and business change project that will modernise systems, improve organisational capability and deliver lasting benefits to our growing community.

About the Role
Reporting to the Program Director, you will:

  • Lead the successful delivery of complex technology transformation project.
  • Manage project governance, budgets, risks, schedules and reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with executive leaders, business stakeholders, vendors and project teams.
  • Drive organisational change, training and adoption of new technologies.
  • Provide strategic advice and regular reporting to senior leadership and governance groups.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, IT, Business or a related field.
  • Extensive experience delivering large-scale ICT or digital transformation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex programs in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience in Local Government and TechnologyOne environments will be highly regarded.
