Senior Procurement Officer - QITC Frameworks

We’re partnering with a large government organisation delivering a major transformation program and are seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to support high-value, complex procurement activities.

This role will suit a procurement professional with strong Queensland Government experience, particularly across ICT sourcing and contract management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities across complex and high-risk categories
  • Provide expert advice on procurement strategy, governance, and compliance
  • Manage supplier engagements and oversee contract lifecycle delivery
  • Drive procurement planning, reporting, and performance outcomes
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver commercially sound and compliant solutions

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in government procurement environments
  • Strong working knowledge of QITC frameworks is essential (not just exposure)
  • Proven capability across contract management, probity, and governance
  • Experience managing ICT or contingent labour procurement highly regarded
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence outcomes
  • Highly organised with strong commercial acumen
