Senior Power Platform Engineer

Position Overview
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Microsoft Power Platform Engineer to contribute to the delivery of modern, secure, and scalable business solutions within a large Federal Government environment.
Working as part of a high-performing technology team, you will design, develop and enhance solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 ecosystem, helping improve business processes through low-code development, automation and data-driven insights. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex enterprise initiatives while supporting the ongoing uplift of digital capability within a collaborative and security-focused environment.
Key Duties
- Design and develop Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps for enterprise business solutions.
- Build and maintain Power Automate cloud and desktop (RPA) workflows.
- Develop and manage Dataverse data models, security roles and governance.
- Configure and customise Dynamics 365 environments and associated modules.
- Design and deliver Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic data models.
- Implement and maintain Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Integrate Microsoft Power Platform solutions with external systems using Microsoft Graph API and Azure Integration Services.
- Support Power Platform governance, security and compliance requirements.
- Produce technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Experience Required
- Demonstrated experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI and Power Pages.
- Strong experience with Dataverse, including data modelling, security configuration and solution management.
- Experience configuring and customising Dynamics 365.
- Proven capability developing Power BI reports, semantic models, DAX and deployment pipelines.
- Experience implementing Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and Azure Integration Services.
- Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments.
- Understanding of Microsoft security, governance and compliance practices, including ISM and Essential Eight principles.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while mentoring others.
- Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365 certifications will be highly regarded.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.
