The Role: Our client is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to support, maintain and secure the BTP Network, Voice and Security environments.
The Responsibilities:
- Implement and enhance the organisations BTP Network, Voice and Security environments as part of projects and initiatives.
- Lead the resolution of complex and escalated support issues within the Network Engineering team.
- A Subject Matter Expert to BTP Architects, BTP Project Managers, other BTP teams, as well as the wider business on Network, Voice and Security matters, including both industry standards as well as vendor specific knowledge.
- Implement automation via scripts and configuration management for repeatable and consistent results.
- Be available for 24 x 7 out-of-hours support on a rostered basis.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 7 years proven experience as Network Engineer with demonstrated design, implementation and support of network solutions to meet business needs including complex routing and switching environments using Cisco and others hardware.
- Demonstrated design and implementation and support of security solutions to meet business needs including complex firewall, IPS, Cisco ISE and LogRythym SIEM environments.
- Demonstrated experience with Azure Networking implementation, landing zones and design concepts
- Monitors network security health including data and voice networks ensuring the network is operating efficiently.
- Experience with LogRhythm, Stealthwatch, Firemon, Solarwinds, Tenable, Nessus is highly regarded.
