Senior Network Engineer - M365
Talent International is partnering with a large enterprise organisation undertaking a significant Microsoft 365 transformation and tenant migration program. We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with deep expertise across Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Azure to provide technical leadership throughout a complex migration and separation initiative.
This role will focus on the design, governance and execution of tenant migration activities, ensuring identity, collaboration, messaging and security services are transitioned seamlessly while maintaining operational stability and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and delivery of Microsoft 365 tenant migration and separation activities.
- Provide subject matter expertise across Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 services.
- Develop and review migration strategies, transition states and target-state architectures.
- Oversee identity cutovers, mailbox migrations, Teams rehoming and SharePoint Online reconfiguration activities.
- Assess application dependencies, authentication services and integration requirements across enterprise platforms.
- Produce solution designs, architecture documentation and technical artefacts to support project delivery.
- Collaborate with architecture, cloud, security and workplace technology teams to ensure successful migration outcomes.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks while ensuring adherence to security, compliance and governance requirements.
Required Experience
- Proven experience delivering large-scale Microsoft 365 tenant migration, merger, separation or consolidation programs.
- Strong hands-on expertise with:
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Azure Active Directory
- Microsoft 365 Administration
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft Teams
- SharePoint Online
- Identity Synchronisation and Entra Connect
- Conditional Access and Identity Governance
- Experience managing cross-tenant collaboration and migration activities.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, service accounts and application integration dependencies.
- Experience producing architecture diagrams, migration runbooks and technical design documentation.
- Ability to operate within complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Desirable
- Microsoft certifications across Microsoft 365, Entra ID or Identity and Access Management.
- Experience working within government, enterprise or highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of ICT governance, cyber security frameworks and compliance requirements.
