About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a major enterprise environment based in Parramatta. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale network transformation and security uplift program focused on Zero Trust, network segmentation, secure access, and infrastructure modernisation.

Working closely with Network, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and Operations teams, you will help design, implement, and support secure, resilient, and high-performing network services across a complex multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement enterprise network solutions aligned with architecture standards and best practices.

  • Deliver network transformation initiatives including segmentation, access control, and security uplift programs.

  • Configure and support Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, including policy development and enforcement.

  • Support secure connectivity models including SD-WAN, SSE, SASE, and hybrid network architectures.

  • Deliver network upgrades, refreshes, and remediation activities across enterprise environments.

  • Monitor network performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

  • Integrate network telemetry into monitoring and SIEM platforms to improve observability.

  • Produce implementation, operational, and handover documentation.

  • Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer within large enterprise environments.

  • Strong experience delivering network segmentation, Zero Trust, or security transformation initiatives.

  • Hands-on experience with Network Access Control (NAC) technologies such as Aruba ClearPass.

  • Strong understanding of firewall policies, segmentation controls, and access enforcement.

  • Experience with secure access technologies including SSE, SASE, Prisma Access, or Zscaler.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Technical Expertise

Experience with several of the following technologies:

  • Palo Alto Networks (NGFW, Prisma Access)

  • Zero Trust Architecture / SASE

  • Zscaler

  • Aruba Networking (Switching, Wireless, ClearPass)

  • Ruckus Wireless

  • Citrix ADC / NetScaler

  • Cisco Networking Technologies

  • Cisco DevNet / Network Automation

  • Illumio, Akamai Guardicore, VMware vDefend, or Trend Micro XShield

  • SD-WAN technologies

  • SolarWinds, NetFlow, SNMP, HP IMC

  • IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, QoS, Routing & Switching

  • Network Monitoring and SIEM Integration

Desirable Certifications

  • CCNP Enterprise

  • Aruba Certifications (ACMP, ACSP, ClearPass)

  • Palo Alto PCNSE

  • Cisco DevNet

  • Zscaler or Prisma Access Certifications

  • Illumio Certification

  • Citrix ADC / NetScaler Certification

  • Azure Network Engineer (AZ-700)
