We’re recruiting several experienced Senior Network Engineers to join a team building and operating large-scale cloud network infrastructure supporting critical national capabilities. This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll design, deploy, automate and optimise complex network environments while working with leading-edge technologies.

Key activities

  • Design, build and support large-scale network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Develop automation to improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead network deployments, upgrades and optimisation initiatives.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

You’ll have experience with:

  • Linux/Unix administration
  • Large-scale IP networking
  • Routing protocols including BGP, OSPF and MPLS
  • TCP/IP networking fundamentals
  • Data Centre and/or WAN networking
  • Network security principles
  • Firewalls, ACLs, DNS and DHCP
  • Network automation or scripting (Python, Ruby, Perl or similar)
  • Building or supporting highly available network environments
  • A relevant technical degree and/or industry certifications

Australian Citizenship is essential.
