Senior Network Engineer

As the Senior Network Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing and optimising IP/MPLS networks, resolving complex issues, integrating new technologies and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to deliver reliable, scalable network solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and optimise IP/MPLS backbone and access networks
• Troubleshoot complex faults; support onboarding of Service Providers
• Lead network testing, R&D, and integration of new technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Produce and maintain high-quality documentation (processes, diagrams, IPAM)
• Support network expansion, performance, and innovation through scalable solutions
• Participate in on-call support and after-hours implementations
• Build and present business cases for technical enhancements or innovations
• Ensure documentation and processes meet internal standards and compliance requirements

Skills & Experience

• Prior experience within service providers or enterprise networks
• Strong expertise in IP/MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, xPON, GPON, CGNAT, and firewall technologies
• Hands-on with Nokia, Juniper, Fortinet, Huawei, Opengear, Ruckus and Adtran devices
• Experience with network capacity planning, incident/problem management and test labs
• Industry certifications (Cisco, Nokia, Juniper)
• Strong documentation, stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
