An iconic Australian organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join their high-performing technology team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work across complex infrastructure, networking and cloud initiatives, partnering with architects, engineers and senior stakeholders to deliver large-scale technology outcomes. With a strong pipeline of work ahead, there is genuine potential for this role to transition into a permanent position.

About the Role

As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in translating business needs into technical requirements across enterprise networking and cloud environments. You’ll work closely with technical delivery teams to define current and future state architectures, facilitate workshops, document requirements and support the successful delivery of strategic technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements.
• Lead workshops to define current and future state processes, systems and infrastructure.
• Produce high-quality business, functional and technical documentation including process maps, user stories and solution requirements.
• Work closely with infrastructure, networking and cloud engineering teams throughout project delivery.
• Conduct impact assessments, gap analysis and support solution design activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Support testing, implementation and business readiness activities where required.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Extensive experience as a Senior Technical Business Analyst within large enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, switching, routing and network security.
• Hands-on experience working across cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure, cloud migration or network transformation projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong documentation skills including business requirements, functional specifications, process mapping and user stories.
• Experience working within Agile and hybrid project delivery environments.
