Senior Microsoft Power Apps Developer
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft Power Apps Developer to support the design and delivery of business-critical applications within a federal government environment.
This role will focus on developing and optimising solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, working closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality applications that support key business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Power Apps (canvas and model-driven apps) to support business processes
- Implement and manage Dataverse as the core data platform
- Develop and configure Power Automate workflows for data validation, automation, and notifications
- Migrate data from SharePoint and other sources into Dataverse
- Ensure data integrity, security, and governance controls across applications
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and iterate solutions
- Produce technical documentation, including solution design, configuration, and support models
- Deliver user training, knowledge transfer, and post-deployment support
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- Strong experience developing Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate solutions
- Experience working with Dataverse, data modelling, and application governance
- Solid understanding of the Microsoft 365 platform
- Proven ability to design scalable solutions and manage end-to-end application delivery
- Strong stakeholder engagement and solution consulting capability
- Experience troubleshooting and optimising complex workflows and integrations
Highly regarded:
- Experience working within government or regulated environments
- Strong understanding of data governance, security roles, and permissions
- Experience migrating data and modernising legacy solutions
