Job Title: Senior Manager People Projects

Location: Sydney CBD (3-4 days in the office)

Contract: 6 months

Daily Rate: $700-800 + Super

About the Role:

Talent International, a leading Australian recruitment firm, have been engaged by our long-standing client, a leading entertainment organisation, to source a Senior Manager People Projects to support their People & Culture team. Reporting to the GM of people operations, you will take ownership of several high-priority people projects, ensuring delivery while the generalist team remains focused on business-as-usual. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the people function at a pivotal time of change and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 4-5 priority HR projects, including:
    • Consolidating people metrics and reporting across the business.
    • Reviewing and improving HR support models, including Employee Relations coverage outside standard hours.
    • Ensuring compliance training and programs meet legislative and organisational requirements.
    • Assessing leadership and cultural initiatives, including employee recognition and engagement.
    • Supporting future initiatives around incentives, labour models, and workforce strategy.
  • Work closely with the people team to leverage their knowledge, ensuring projects are delivered effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing HR systems and processes.

About You:

  • Strong HR BP/generalist experience, ideally with exposure to multiple industries (manufacturing, hospitality, operational/blue-collar environments).
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working in an imperfect environment and able to implement practical solutions.
  • Previous experience in larger HR teams is advantageous.
  • Focused on delivering tangible outcomes, with the ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of regulated environments is a plus.
