We’re seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to join a high-performing enterprise technology team supporting critical infrastructure platforms.
This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining, securing, and optimising Linux systems, while contributing to broader infrastructure reliability, automation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and engineer enterprise Linux environments (builds, patching, upgrades, performance tuning)
  • Manage system lifecycle activities including migrations, re-platforming, and uplift initiatives
  • Implement and maintain security hardening and vulnerability remediation practices
  • Develop automation and scripting solutions (Bash, Python) to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Support scheduling and job automation tools (e.g. Autosys or similar)
  • Manage storage, backup, and recovery configurations across Linux platforms

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience working as a Senior Linux Administrator
  • Proven background in security hardening and vulnerability management
  • Solid scripting and automation capability (Bash, Python)
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet or similar)
  • Knowledge of storage, backup, and recovery solutions (e.g. Veeam or similar)
  • Experience working within ITSM frameworks and providing Level 3 support
