Senior Intelligence Analyst
As the Senior Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping intelligence capability, providing actionable insights to support regulatory operations, investigations, and organisational decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to influence strategic outcomes, drive innovation, and contribute to meaningful work that protects communities and the environment.
It is a 6 months contract role offering VPS 5 hourly rates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a team of intelligence professionals to deliver high-quality intelligence outcomes.
- Providing strategic intelligence, including horizon scanning, trend analysis, and foresight activities.
- Delivering tactical intelligence products to support operational compliance, enforcement, and investigative activities.
- Developing intelligence methodologies, standards, systems, and processes to enhance organisational capability.
- Managing multiple projects and priorities while ensuring effective resource and budget utilisation.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Demonstrated leadership experience within intelligence, regulatory, compliance, investigative, law enforcement, or similar environments.
- Strong intelligence analysis skills with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
- Experience developing and delivering both strategic and tactical intelligence products.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven capability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and organisational change.
