Seeking a Senior Impact Assessor to lead the project management and delivery of statutory environmental impact assessment (EIA) processes and associated approvals for complex projects. Working in an agile, multidisciplinary environment, the position delivers robust and timely assessments under Victorian and Commonwealth legislation, while coordinating across multiple statutory approval pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex environmental impact assessment processes and approvals under relevant Victorian and Commonwealth legislation.
  • Provide expert technical advice on environmental assessment processes, risks and solutions.
  • Coordinate and interface with multiple statutory approval processes and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, agencies and community stakeholders.
  • Prepare clear, well-evidenced written and verbal advice for senior management and executives.

Key Skills

  • Proven experience managing complex environmental impact assessments and approvals processes
  • Demonstrated experience project managing complex, high-risk assessment and approvals processes.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate and build stakeholder
  • Experience managing competing stakeholder interests and resolving issues collaboratively.
  • MUST HAVE: Valid Victorian Driver’s License
