
Senior HR Change Specialist
The Role
A State Government Agency is seeking an experienced Senior HR Change Specialist for a 6-month contract to support a major organisational transformation. This role will focus on leading formal consultation processes and supporting staff and leaders through change, guiding the business through complex IR-sensitive consultations and ensuring alignment across change, communications, and organisational design streams.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage end-to-end formal consultation processes, including union and staff engagement.
- Collaborate across project teams, P&C, Org Design, and Change & Comms to ensure alignment.
- Develop consultation materials, packs, and messaging with a focus on clarity and sensitivity.
- Coach leaders to deliver key messages in consultation sessions, providing advice and observations.
About You
- Experience managing formal consultation processes within the public sector.
- Understanding of IR protocols, union engagement, and stakeholder sensitivities.
- Writing and messaging skills, with attention to tone, language, and legal alignment.
- Background in strategic HR, change management, or organisational development preferred.
