Senior Full Stack Java Developer

Long term 12-month contract with a Federal Government Agency with likely extension. Due to a busy period, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Software Engineer to work in a team.

Your role will be to assist with overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and providing technical leadership to a team of software engineers. You will be using Java, Spring Boot and related frameworks while building responsive, dynamic and accessible front-end interfaces using modern frameworks.

You will need the following to be considered.

  • Previous experience with a federal government site in Australia
  • Extensive experience in Java and or Full Stack development
  • Strong skills in JSP, JSF, Java, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery,
  • Angular, Node JS, Nest JS, Mongo DB, API Connect
  • Strong experience in front end technologies, Spring, IBM DB2, JPA, Webservice standards
  • Proven record of delivering IT solutions using software development life cycle, systems development, in an agile environment

Hybrid work arrangements on offer, however, for the first 6 weeks you will need to be onsite at the Melbourne CBD location. After this 3 days/week onsite. You will need a Baseline Security Clearance (or higher) to be considered for this application.
