Senior Experience Designer | Design Systems

This is an opportunity to join a mature, high-performing design systems team within a large enterprise environment, working at true scale across multiple brands and platforms. You’ll be embedded in a long-tenured, collaborative team alongside senior leadership, helping evolve the design system into a product and platform that supports designers, engineers, and emerging AI capabilities.

This role is less about screens and more about systems, requiring someone who can think at an enterprise level, balance industry trends with practical outcomes, and drive meaningful impact across complex ecosystems.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll help evolve the design system into a scalable, machine-readable platform that enables consistent, accessible, and high-quality experiences across the organisation. Working closely with design and engineering, you’ll strengthen design-to-code alignment, contribute to system architecture, and support tools, documentation, and workflows that drive adoption at scale.

You’ll also play a key role in identifying relevant industry trends (including AI), assessing their value, and helping embed the right ones into the system to improve outcomes across teams and products.

What they’re looking for

• Strong experience in digital product design with a focus on UI and systems thinking
• Proven background working on enterprise design systems
• Deep understanding of components, tokens, and scalable system architecture
• Ability to operate across design and engineering, improving design-to-code workflows
• Experience working with structured or machine-readable design system documentation
• Exposure to AI in design or design-to-code workflows (or strong interest in this space)
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) at a system level
• Experience across web and/or native mobile platforms (iOS/Android)
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to drive adoption across teams
• Ability to think beyond immediate problems and operate at an enterprise level
