Senior Engineer - Java / Calypso

What you’ll be doing
Day-to-day, you’ll be hands-on with Java development within a heavily customised Calypso environment, working across the full delivery lifecycle requirements, development, testing, and production deployment. You’ll contribute to microservices architecture, collaborate with BAs, testers, and fellow engineers, and use AI-assisted development tools to sharpen both speed and quality. Deliverables range from two-week changes to complex, multi-month initiatives.
What they’re looking for
- 5+ years of strong Java engineering experience
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, end-to-end technical solutions independently
- Exposure to microservices architecture and enterprise-scale environments
- Financial markets experience (particularly FX) is highly valued
- Calypso experience is a significant advantage
- Ownership mindset, strong problem-solving, and the ability to ramp up quickly in complex systems
