
Senior Employee Relations Advisor
The Role
A Victorian State Government agency is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Advisor to support a ethical standards unit. This 3-month contract role offers the chance to lead and contribute to sensitive and high-impact employee relations matters, including complex workplace investigations. You’ll provide strategic advice, ensure adherence to workplace policies, and assist in maintaining a fair and transparent workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support workplace investigations into employee conduct, grievances, and compliance matters
- Provide advice to senior stakeholders on misconduct management and workplace policies
- Draft briefing notes, reports, and correspondence in line with internal frameworks
- Contribute to the development and review of workplace conduct procedures and policies
About You
- Proven experience in employee/workplace relations within government or large complex environments
- Strong working knowledge of workplace legislation, conduct frameworks, and public sector standards
- Excellent communication, investigation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment
