Senior Electrical Engineer
Talent International has been engaged by a leading ASX-listed manufacturing company to source an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a major upgrade project, based onsite in Wollongong. This is a 12-month initial contract with strong potential to extend or go permanent.
Role Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Contract Length: 12-month initial contract (highly likely to extend)
Location + WFH Flexibility: Onsite – Wollongong
HourlyPay: Competitive – $110 – $120 per hour
Role Details:
- The purpose of this position is to support the Lead Drives Engineer in ensuring all electrical and drives engineering
- Engineering design work in accordance with design control procedures.
- Commissioning of electrical distribution and drives systems.
- Package and project engineering.
- Early phase project study development and engineering design (Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility).
- Management of design and as-built documentation to facilitate successful handover of project stages.
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Degree qualification in Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics) Other relevant tertiary Engineering may be considered.
- 10+ years working with electrical systems in an industrial environment
- Team leadership/mentorship expereince
- Electrical Distribution Systems.
- Variable Speed Drives (VSD).
- Commissioning.
- Project/package management including vendor and contract management.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
