Senior Drupal Developer

  • Key skills: Senior Drupal development, large-scale content migration, content audits, accessibility, taxonomy and platform health assessment

This is an opportunity for a Senior Drupal Developer to support a high-priority digital knowledge platform used to publish authoritative policy and procedural information. You will play a key role in a time-critical content migration program, while also improving platform quality, accessibility, security and long-term sustainability.

Your duties will include:

  • Coordinating the upload of approximately 2,000 policy pages into a Drupal-based platform
  • Ensuring content is accurately formatted, tagged and published in line with required standards
  • Working with policy owners to confirm content prior to publication
  • Tracking migration progress and reporting status to the project lead
  • Conducting a large-scale content audit and data quality review
  • Assessing platform health across security, performance, accessibility and version currency
  • Providing technical advice on future platform options, integration risks and remediation priorities

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience developing, configuring and administering Drupal platforms
  • Strong Drupal site-building and web development experience
  • Experience delivering large-scale content upload, migration or structured publishing workflows
  • Ability to design and execute content audits across complex information environments
  • Understanding of accessibility requirements and content best practice
  • Experience with information architecture, metadata and taxonomy for knowledge or policy libraries
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across ICT, business and policy teams
