About the Role:

Are you a data professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring data quality? Our client is looking for a Senior Data Tester to join a high-performing delivery squad in Brisbane. In this role, you’ll be critical in validating data across multiple initiatives, ensuring that business decisions are powered by accurate, reliable information.

This is a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects in a collaborative environment. You’ll liaise with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams, and have a direct influence on project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough data testing to validate accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple projects.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test scripts and data validation plans.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to understand data requirements and workflows.
  • Identify, document, and communicate data issues, and work with stakeholders to support remediation efforts.
  • Assist with testing across ongoing delivery initiatives as well as ad hoc projects as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Data Tester, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of data testing, data quality, and validation techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with SQL, data validation tools, or similar is advantageous.

Role Details:

  • Location: Brisbane
  • Contract Duration: 6 months
  • Day Rate: $875 – $925 per day inc super
