An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Consultant – Procurement to join a highly regarded management consulting environment, working across complex procurement, commercial advisory and transformation engagements.

We’re looking for someone who has already built experience within a consulting environment and brings several years of hands-on procurement experience. Ideally, you’ll have worked across government or public sector procurement, giving you a strong understanding of structured procurement processes, governance and stakeholder environments.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading end-to-end procurement processes and complex tenders
  • Providing strategic procurement and commercial advice to senior stakeholders
  • Designing and implementing procurement policies, frameworks and governance models
  • Supporting procurement transformation initiatives and capability uplift programs
  • Managing supplier engagement, market approaches and negotiation processes
  • Turning complex analysis into clear, decision-ready recommendations

What you’ll bring

  • Previous experience working within management consulting or a professional services consulting environment
  • Several years of procurement, commercial or strategic sourcing experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading procurement projects and complex tenders
  • Government or public sector procurement experience highly regarded
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement frameworks, including Commonwealth Procurement Rules, desirable
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence working with senior and executive-level stakeholders
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to navigate complex client environments
