Talent is partnering with a highly reputable Defence consultancy to source a Senior Commercial Manager with NV1 Clearance.
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Consultant to join our Commercial Team at our air force base location to execute urgent and complex contract management work.
The Commercial Consultant will be responsible for:
- Completing stakeholder engagement to confirm support requirements
- Developing an action plan and schedule to support contract management outcomes
- Actively managing stakeholder relationships including Commonwealth, Industry and other applicable parties to achieve outcomes
- Developing relevant procurement and commercial documentation
- Contributing to contract risk and performance reviews
- Coordinating reviews/meetings
- Submitting artefacts for Delegate approval
- Implementing contract change proposals and other contract management documentation
- Reporting progress at Team meetings
Essential Skills and Experience
- Commercial experience in a CASG SPO
- Proven ability to manage complex contracts
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with procurement and commercial documentation
- In-depth knowledge of legislative frameworks, decision making and Defence commercial policy
- NV1 Clearance or above
