Senior Business Analyst // Product Migration

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Business BA to join a large-scale commercial banking migration program.

This is a broad, end-to-end BA role where you’ll take ownership of requirements across product, process, workflow, data and operations. You’ll work across multiple connected workstreams, helping translate existing banking products and processes into the future state and carrying requirements through the full migration lifecycle.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working across both business and technology teams, can navigate complexity independently and is comfortable taking ownership rather than operating within a narrow BA remit.

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering and analysis across multiple migration workstreams
  • Map existing banking products and processes to their future-state equivalents
  • Own requirements across the migration lifecycle, from initial product mapping through to implementation
  • Identify changes required to product documentation, legal documents and annexures
  • Work closely with product and line-of-business stakeholders to understand product and process impacts
  • Translate business requirements into clear requirements for workflow engineers
  • Partner with data sourcing teams to identify required data fields and appropriate source systems
  • Conduct initial data investigation to support requirements definition and migration planning
  • Gather and document operational requirements associated with the migration
  • Facilitate workshops and requirements discussions across business and technology teams
  • Work across multiple streams, proactively resolving blockers and maintaining delivery momentum
  • Act as a central point of ownership across product, process, workflow, data and operational requirements

Requirements

  • Strong experience as a Senior Business BA within large-scale product or platform migration programs (Banking)
  • Demonstrated end-to-end BA capability across multiple workstreams
  • Strong product and process mapping experience
  • Solid understanding of the end-to-end migration lifecycle
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements across business, operations, workflow and data teams
  • Experience with transactional banking and/or lending products, ideally including transaction accounts, business lending, mortgages, debit/credit cards or personal loans
  • Comfortable working with data at a requirements level, including identifying required fields and understanding source systems/data warehouses
  • Ability to communicate effectively with product teams, operations, workflow engineers and data engineers
  • Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, navigate blockers and drive requirements through to delivery
  • Comfortable moving between business and technology conversations without needing to be a deeply technical BA
