Senior Business Analyst-Finance
Our client, a leading organisation within the education sector, is undertaking a large-scale digital transformation program modernising its Finance and ERP systems. As part of this initiative, they are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst – Finance to join their project team on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong view to extend.
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to analyse, document, and optimise finance processes, ensuring a smooth transition to new digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis and documentation of finance processes across GL, AP, AR, and asset management functions
- Facilitate workshops to define business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Support the configuration, integration, and testing of new ERP solutions (e.g. SAP, Oracle)
- Collaborate with implementation partners to ensure deliverables meet quality and compliance standards
- Contribute to change management, UAT, and post-implementation support activities
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in Finance or ERP transformation projects
- Strong understanding of finance operations, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Strong knowledge of various ERP modules such as Finance (GL, AP, AR, AA), Procurement, Invoicing and Billing, Group Reporting
- Hands-on experience with major ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in large, cross-functional teams
